Grassroots’ Voices (GRAVO) is a community based organization dedicated to promoting the rights of marginalized and vulnerable communities in Kwale County. Our advocacy is evidence based and uses data and grassroots insights to advocate for transparent and accountable governance, particularly in sectors critical to human development such as health, education, environment, agriculture and social protection.
Our organization operates under a strong and transparent governance structure that ensures strategic oversight, accountability, and effective management. At the helm is a Board of Directors composed of seven members who bring diverse expertise in governance, finance, human rights, and community development. The Board provides overall direction, policy guidance, and fiduciary oversight to ensure the organization remains mission-focused and compliant with all legal and ethical standards.
Grassroots’ Voices is registered as a Community-Based Organization (CBO) under Kenyan law and operates across Kwale County.
