Donor and Area of support

Global greengrants (GGF) 2023

GGF supported our work with mining-impacted communities in Msambweni Constituency in Kwale County, enabling us to conduct civic education and awareness forums on legal and policy frameworks governing large scale

Global greengrants (GGF) 2024

Mining and community rights.

The support from  GGF provided funding for  our anti-nuclear advocacy campaign in Kwale County, following the government’s plan to establish a Nuclear power plant in Kilifi and Kwale Counties. The project empowered communities to demand adequate community involvement in the planning stages environmentally and push for sustainable alternatives.

Christian Blind Mission – Kenya    (CBM) 2024/25

We partnered with CBM to advocate for the Biashara Fund Act 2025, a landmark piece for the disability – inclusive legislation that was successfully adopted by the county government of Kwale. This legislation, along with its accompanying regulations, ensures that PWD’s not only have equitable to access loan products but also hold positions in decision making spaces.
